About us

Gina Larson, founder of Windmill Bed & Biscuit, has been involved with animals all her life, spending her early years training and showing horses.  Gina became involved with purebred Australian Shepherds in 1965 and has been competing in conformation, obedience , agility and herding since 1980.  For many years Gina was involved in Australian Shepherd rescue.

These years of training horses and dogs gave Gina a valuable and thorough knowledge of animal behavior and care.   In addition she has a close working relationship with her veterinarians.

Not wanting to board her own dogs in a “kennel” environment led to her offering cageless boarding. In addition, Gina loves and  understands  the special needs of geriatric dogs.
